The Band 1 vocabulary belongs to a designation made by the CEFR – Common European
Framework of Reference. This vocabulary is included in a group called A-1 (Basic User 1). It also
includes some words from the pre-basic user list (A-1). This book includes words from Core 1 and
2, which can be found marked at the end of the Teacher’s Guide.
Target Population: Word Power Band 1 Part 2 has been written for pupils in the elementary
